I started on set, and kept the private chairs small on purpose.
Editorial work is unforgiving — you get one call and a photograph decides whether it worked. That is where the studio’s whole method comes from: work backwards from the result you actually need, and don’t guess.
The private chairs run on the same method. Fourteen a week isn’t a marketing number — it’s roughly what two colourists can do properly around a full week of shoots.
