Residential interior design ยท Paddington & Rosalie, Brisbane

We charge a fixed design fee and pass the trade discount to you.

Whole-house design and renovation management, priced before we start. The discount we get on everything specified goes on your invoice, not into our margin.

Why that matters

A design fee can come in two parts. Ours comes in one.

There is a design fee, and then there is the margin taken on everything specified — often a sizeable percentage, quietly built into the price you pay for the sofa, the tiles, the joinery. We charge one fee, agreed before we start, and every trade discount is passed through to you at cost and shown on the invoice.

What we do

Three ways to work with us

A hand holding a fan of plain paint colour squares
01

Design only

Full scheme, drawings, specification and a shopping list you can execute yourself or hand to your own builder.

02

Design and management

We design it and then run it — trades, deliveries, snagging and the decisions that come up on site.

03

One room, one day

A day in your house solving a single room, with a written scheme afterwards. The most useful thing we sell.

The studio

Small, by design

We turn work down rather than take on more than three of us can properly look after.

Written after handover

“The itemised list showed us the trade price and the retail price side by side. For the first time on any project we knew exactly where every dollar went, before it went.”

Whole-house renovation — Paddington
Design and management

“We had been arguing about the same room for two years. One day, one scheme, argument over. We wish we had done it at the start.”

Kitchen

“Running the trades was worth every dollar. Somebody else took the delivery calls and chased the joiner while we carried on with our jobs.”

Book a consultation. If we are not right for it, we will say so on the call.

An hour, at your house, on the actual room. No obligation, and no proposal unless you want one.
