Warrigal Creek
A conventional truck and shovel open cut 18 km north-west of Moranbah, in production since 2011. Coal is washed on site and railed to Dalrymple Bay on the Goonyella system. The pit has a 24-year reserve life at current rates, with a northern extension approved and scheduled to start stripping next year.
Mundoo Range
A single-longwall underground operation with two continuous miner development units, commissioned in 2018. Pre-drainage and goaf gas management run ahead of the face, and product is blended with Warrigal Creek tonnage at the Coppabella load-out to hold a consistent PCI specification.
Cardowan South
An advanced exploration project south of Blackwater, acquired in 2021. Resource definition drilling is complete and a definitive feasibility study is under way, covering an open cut starter pit with underground potential at depth. Environmental authority and water approvals are in assessment.
Rail and port capacity already contracted.
Above-rail haulage is contracted on the Goonyella and Blackwater systems, with terminal allocation at Dalrymple Bay and access arrangements at RG Tanna. Train load-outs at Coppabella and on-site at Warrigal Creek give us two independent paths to water.
