Safety, health & compliance

Production never comes before a person’s safety. Not once.

Our obligations

Our obligations, plainly stated.

Every Ironbark operation runs a safety and health management system built to the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and its regulation. Each site has an appointed Site Senior Executive who carries statutory accountability for that system — and the authority to stop work.

Contractors are held to the same standard. Nobody works on an Ironbark site without a site-specific induction, verified competencies, and a documented risk assessment for the task in front of them.
