Keystone Physio

No referral needed · Mon–Sat · 6:30am starts
Toowong · St Lucia · Indooroopilly

Pain has a plan. Let’s find yours.

Every new patient gets a full 45-minute assessment before any plan is written — the source of the problem, not just the sore spot. You leave with a diagnosis in plain English and an honest estimate of what it will take.

No referral needed. Early and evening slots for people who train, work or coach around this.
THE SHORT VERSION

How this clinic runs

Four facts about the way appointments here are booked and run. None of them is a claim about how your own problem will turn out — nobody can promise you that.

2015

Treating out of the same Keystone Row rooms.

45 min

Every first assessment, hands-on treatment the same visit.

4

Treatment rooms, plus a full rehab gym under the same roof.

6:30am

Earliest slot, five days a week, for people who train before work.

WHAT WE TREAT

Six things people come in with

A physiotherapist guiding a client through a shoulder movement on a treatment table
Most common

Back & neck pain

Desk necks, disc flare-ups, and the back that goes every few months. Hands-on treatment plus a loading plan that stops the cycle.

A physiotherapist taping an ankle during a sports injury consultation
Sport

Sports injuries

Sprains, strains and tears, worked up with the training log that caused them, not just the sore bit.

A client doing a supervised step-up exercise in the rehab gym
Surgical

Post-operative rehab

Knee reconstructions, shoulder repairs, joint replacements. We work to your surgeon’s protocol and report back to them.

A physiotherapist watching a client walk on the treadmill
Testing, not guessing

Movement lab assessment

Treadmill and camera analysis for a niggle that keeps returning. You see the footage, not just hear a conclusion.

A physiotherapist coaching a client through a kettlebell exercise
Prevention

Rehab gym block

Coached strength sessions in our own gym for people coming off an injury who want to stay off the treatment table.

An empty treatment room set up for a first assessment
Work

WorkCover & CTP

Billed direct to the insurer, reports written on time, and a return-to-work plan your employer can actually read.

THE FEE, PLAINLY

One price. Forty-five minutes. No upsell.

$115 initial, $98 after that. HICAPS at the desk so you claim on the spot. We do not sell packs of ten and we do not charge extra for taping, dry needling or your exercise program.

Initial assessment

$115

Forty-five minutes. Assessment and hands-on treatment in the same visit, exercises written down before you leave.

Standard consultation

$98

Every follow-up visit, thirty to forty minutes. Dry needling and taping are inside that fee, never beside it.

WHY PEOPLE COME BACK

Four rules of the treatment room

Held in every appointment, by every clinician here.

01

Assess properly

Forty-five minutes before any plan is written. The source of the problem, not just the sore spot.

02

Hands and homework

Every plan pairs hands-on treatment with exercises scaled to the week you actually have, not the one a handout assumes.

03

A visible finish line

You get an honest estimate of how many appointments this should take at visit one, once we have actually examined you.

04

Discharged, not dependent

The goal is you not needing us. Maintenance sessions in the rehab gym are your choice afterwards, never a scheme.

Clinicians who train the way they coach

Everyone here spends time in the rehab gym themselves — prescribing exercise you have actually done changes how you explain it.

QUESTIONS

Asked at most first visits

The things people want to know before they book.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. Physiotherapy is a first-contact profession in Australia, so you can ring and book straight in. A GP referral only matters if you want a Medicare rebate through a Chronic Disease Management plan — ask your GP whether you qualify.

How many appointments will this take?

You get an estimate at the end of the first appointment, once we have actually examined you. If it genuinely needs three months of work we will say that up front, rather than booking you in a fortnight at a time.

Will it be hands-on or just exercises?

Both, in the same visit. The hands-on work settles things down enough to move, and the exercises are what stop it coming back.

Can I claim on my private health?

Yes, through the HICAPS terminal at the desk. You claim on the spot and pay the gap only — the amount depends on your own level of extras cover.

Do you see WorkCover, DVA and CTP claims?

We do, and we bill the insurer directly so there is nothing out of your pocket. Bring your claim or DVA card details to the first appointment.
